Foundation

Foundation may refer to:

• A type of makeup.
• The supporting part of the honeycomb in a beehive.
• Foundation (architecture) - the portion of a building's structure that serves to transfer the weight of the building into the ground itself. Most foundations extend underground, and the foundations of large buildings often penetrate the bedrock.
