U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida

The United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida is the Federal district court whose jurisdiction is comprised of the following counties: Broward, Dade, Highlands, Indian River, Martin, Monroe, Okeechobee, Palm Beach, and St. Lucie. It has jurisdiction over the cities of Fort Lauderdale, Miami and West Palm Beach.

The United States Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida represents the United States in civil and criminal litigation in the court.
