Unsorted vitals
WikiNotes
After largely creating the articles for Fiestaware and Uranium glass, I appear to be the Wikipedia expert on housewares containing uranium.
I have been accused of both deletionism and inclusionism. I tend to get the latter more than the former. I claim independent status.
I am in favor of the inclusion of articles on micronations.
I am a Members' Advocate.
I had two original articles appear on Did you know within barely two months of getting involved with WP.
I became seriously involved with WP in May 2004.
I currently administer a MediaWiki system for my workplace to serve as a company knowledge base. I am thinking of running one on my website (to replace a laughable "miniwiki" app I made) and also to serve other projects, especially where custom object development is becoming too onerous.
You know you've been Wikipeding too much when:
- You become frustrated with websites that don't mark broken links in red
- You find yourself using double quotes instead of <i> tags in regular typing
- You're really, really tired of needing to remember <p> tags
- You hear that Hunter S. Thompson has died, and you run to see if it's been mentioned there yet.
- You're astonished at just how much copyrighted and non-commercial-use only material is out there compared to truly free material, and wish more people knew about Creative Commons
License
