As of July 5, 2004, I am a Wikipedia:administrator.

I once wondered if we already had enough sysops, then I noticed that on Dec. 17, 2004 - 1034 new articles were created but 696 items were deleted. That rate would require almost 2 deletions per admin every day.

"Do you want to take a survey?"

On Feb. 12, 2005, I did a random pages survey. Out of 100 random pages, only 1 was a U.S. town. That's progress. Three towns in the UK, 1 in Spain and 1 in Portugal also turned up. Overall biographies were the largest category at 22%, followed by geography with 15% total. Then Lists at 7%, Disambiguation pages at 6%.

• finish correcting top grossing movies in years in film (have done 1942-1984 so far -I don't have older data) (1942-1984 use calendar year gross reported by Variety, I think 1985-2004 use total film gross, I won't change them though. I found a list of the single top grossing film for each year 1916-1941 which I have yet to add.)
• standardizing U.S. National Park articles (see progress at Wikipedia:WikiProject Protected Areas/Status)
