Template standardisation
The template standardisation competition has received some fantastic entries so far. Obviously I'm biased towards my own, but I will certainly be supporting some of the other submissions. I think this competition is working out very well, even if what led to it wasn't particularly pretty.

Automatic number plate recognition
My most recent project has been automatic number plate recognition (ANPR), a look at the OCR-for-number plates system. Having started it on 28 March 2005 it featured on DYK, briefly went for peer review and is now on FAC. I'm hoping that it will pass through there quickly, becoming a featured article in around 10 days. Thanks to RJHall and Harry491 for their input on the topic and to those that are about to comment about it on FAC. You know, I'm rather proud of it so far!

Requested moves
I'm very happy with the way the new structure at Wikipedia:Requested moves has worked, leading to good discussions and a much cleaner layout. Hopefully the system will continue to expand, but there's going to need to be more admins watching it if that happens.
