optimum conditions for enzymes

hey guys,

Ok so I'm required to come up with a definition for optimum conditions; this is in the context of the function of enzymes. I was going to refer to the temperature at which there is the fastest rate of metabolic reactions due to the enzymes operating best at that particular temperature.

Is that all I have to consider with regard to this definition!!
