Robin Sherrill

Dear Steve or Teri, I don't know if this will even get to you but I must try.
I have a daughter named Angela that has been an amazing help to me as I have Multiple Sclerosis. She
is a junior this year in college, majoring in biology. Her job desire is to become a zoologist. My question to you is do you ever have internships thru what would be our summers,(we live in California),? If so, what is provided and what is she responsible for. Do you offer housing? etc, etc,
She so wants to come to Australia to work with you and your staff. She has maintained a 3.95 GPA, and graduated with honors for her first two years of college. SHe is dedicated, committed, and her heart for animals of ALL kinds is true. We have always rehabilatated animals of all kinds here at our home.
When we see a snake laying in the road, our concern is is he there because he wants to be, or is he injured. We have been known to pick up a 6ft gopher snake in the road, and we cradled it, and took it immediately to the vet. Lizards are welcome, all birds, snakes....any creatures that should need our help is welcome at our house. Angela is a precious young woman who loves to help and learn all she can learn about all the animals. AS a family we respect all creatures and feel that we (people all over the country), are encroaching on the land they were meant to be on. So Angela and I try to relocate them back into an area that they can live peacefully. I am begging you if you have any internships for next year(2006) that you please, please, search your heart and see if there is a place for Angela in that internship.
We watch you all the time and support all that you do. She deserves a chance to really dig in with both feet.....she says she knows that it will be starting at the bottom but to begin to see thriving wildlife and sometimes the heartbreak, it is all part of caring for all these wonderful creatures.
SHe just needs someone to give her a chance of a lifetime. I am so hoping it could be you and your staff. YOu are all so wonderful and funny, you seem like one big happy family! Is there room for one more for 2 or 3 months?
I will be forever in your debt if something can be worked out. Otherwise I will thank you for taking the time to read my letter. I know how busy you all are.
God bless you all,
Robin Sherrill
