hi. i am a new member to this site,i am not a medical student,and dont have very much medical knowelege.i got this site from google,and i am looking for urgent help as my granddaughter is in hospital for over a month and the doctor,s cannot find out what her problem is,she is only 3 years old,she has fluid leaking into her body that has gone around her heart,has swelled her tummy and face,keyhole surgery has been done to drain it from the heartlast week,and today surgery has been done on her tummy,but the doctor,s do not know where it is comeing from or what it is.we have been told it might be a leakage in her bladder but the doctor,s said no they checked for that but would check again by m.r.i. scan on friday,but today they have now said they might have to do major open heart surgery as they think the fluid is coming from the heart. is this possible.please,please can you shed some light on this and help us understand what is going on.please help us.thank you. jimmy.
