<title>Star activity of restriction enzymes</title>
<link>http://biosphere.biologydaily.com/help/node/5442</link>
<description>This site has interesting information on Restriction Enzyme protocols. An Excerpt from the page I'm recommending:
"There are some restriction enzymes which cleave partially different base sequence than recognition sequence as a result of reduced specificity when used in a large excess to substrate DNA. This phenomenon is called Star Activity. The list of enzymes for which Star Activity is noticed are shown below and the conditions to accelerate its appearance, and the base sequences cleaved by Star Activity for which such reports are available."

<title>Molecular models for biochemistry</title>
<link>http://biosphere.biologydaily.com/help/node/5360</link>
<description>This site has tutorials and quizzes that are based on Chime and RasMol images of the molecules and macromolecules found in biochemistry. They are intended to complement standard biochemistry texts where more explanation is provided, but where interactive 3-D images of the molecules are not available.

<description>By "quick" we mean that in 10 minutes of your time, you'll have a working knowledge of chemistry. Skeptical? The secret is we're not using math! And don't worry — we won't try to teach you TOO much chemistry, just enough to understand the most important things that are going on.
